2009 Pampered Pastor

Congrats to Pastor Robert Castillo of Apostolic Revival Center, for being the winner of the 2009 Pamper Yer Pastor contest. On October 27th we visited with him, his family and church congregation at their prayer meeting in Marianna. It was truly a honor to meet this man. Pastor Castillo is a chaplain at a nursing home in Marianna and works hard for the Lord. It was evident that he is appreciated and loved by his congregation and family. STA is proud to have had the chance to show our appreciation and he was very humble. Here are a few facts about our 2009 Pampered Pastor.

Q. When were you called to preach?
A. 1992, I was saved in 1990.

Q. Other than Jesus, what person in the Bible would you like to meet and why?
A. Paul, he was faithful to the Lord: Horrendous in his calling; a man of excellence.

A. ‘He’s Preparing Me’ by Daryl King
Q. Which do you prefer the King James or the New International Translation?
A. The King James
Q. What is your favorite verse in the Bible?
A. Romans 5:8 But God commanded His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Q. What is the best thing about being a pastor?
A. Ministering to the people.
Q. What do you love about God the most?
A. His love is unconditional.
